Is Hypolexia a Savant Ability?

Manike: Something that can sometimes be mistaken for a savant ability, or i guess, kind of lumped into the same category, is splinter skills. This is something that's used to describe abilities or skills are that typically artistic children have in excess of what would be expected given their general intellectual or cognitive ability. She says hypolexic individuals find certain things very easy and some things are outside the range of yokow, the general intellectual ability. Manike: There hasn't really been a lot of mention of female savants throughout history. So they haven't been as well recognized or talked about.
