The Justice's Perspective on Race Conscious Decisions

Justice Alaina Kagan said that affirmative action can lead to a society where people in leadership positions looks more like the rest of our society. Justice Clarence Thomas has said for decades now that affirmative action programs not only affect or offend the law, but he feels that it watered down his degree. The reporting indicates that in the courtroom, that it was incredibly tense and that Justice Jackson and Justice Sotomayor were essentially staring down their colleagues.
