Is It Possible for the Fed to Push Back Rate Cuts?
Bates: The Fed may not even see another rate height from here. My personal view is that we're done with rate hikes, and that's squarely due to the fact that inflation metrics continue to trend lower. And I think when push does come to shove, they will side on financial stability because that could have far greater tightening effects than another 25 or 50 basis points.
