The Psychological Effects of Air Warfare on Britain
Psychologically, Britain's war leaders have already made a leap that aerial warfare is going to cause massive destruction. So from there on inwards, it's about how do you achieve that maximum loss of life? And the idea is that we're absolutely prevalent to the late 1930s. That hasn't gone away. What has changed is what we thought was going to be enough to achieve that levels of horror. We don't have that yet.
