What Are the Risks and Trade-Offs Around All of This?

I don't know if we'll be able to catch up enough with a society to the bad actors who have better versions of this technology. Or we could use it to activate humanity's potential by bringing this to the world and having an open debate. I've not met anyone who's really thought this through. The classical thing is either massive techno optimism or massive ultra orthodoxy. This technology is too dangerous to ever release. There are very few people who are kind of stringing the line between.
