Passion for the Bible

I want us to think about all those things. Really, you're exceptional because you are so passionate about the text and about the ideas that the biblical text is raising. I'm just curious if you can describe how that even got started, planted in your being, all that. Well, my father was a rural pastor. He wasn't a very good preacher or a scholar at all, but he had great passion about the gospel. So having those kind of teachers made a good bit of difference,. But in the end, it's the text itself that evokes that passion, I think.
