The Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case about whether Catholic charities should be considered a religious entity. According to the state, because Catholic Charities is engaged in purely charitable activities, like giving to the poor, they cannot claim a religious exemption. The Beckett Fund for Religious Liberty called the decision "deeply problematic"
