I've Learned a Lot About Writing Short Stories
When you're writing a short story, it's like looking at your story under a microscope. You're noticing every word in a way that you just don't when you write longer pieces. I really am interested in the more muted aspects of the stories, the things that go unsaid,. The drama of what goes unspoken is lovely and thought provoking.
