How I Got an Old FinTech Investing Career

I wanted to live in cities, and the only way that you could end up really living in a city was if you wanted to go work in a bank. And so I almost fell into the financial services practice in my consulting days because I wanted to be in York and SF and places in London. It's still 20 to 30% of GDP of most countries is in financial services,. And it is the one consistent thing that is based in a city and not based in little towns multiple hours away from cities.
