"It was really different for me because everywhere else, you know, union and Providence and UMass, it was really the first time that that ever happened," he says. "There's a wall of dozens and dozens and dozens of NHLers, and it's unbelievable what happened up there in the late 80s, all through the 90s and early 2000s" He adds: "I was never so nervous in my life."
