Introduction

Willie James Jennings is the Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and Africana Studies at Yale University. His book, entitled The Christian Imagination Theology and the Origins of Race, was published in 2010. He's done a significant number of other writings, articles and speeches,. But he's also published a book that we're going to focus on today, which is a fairly recent book called After Whiteness and Education in Belonging.
