Ulo is in this very modern kind of vision of Paris. He has moments of sort of romance, doesn't he? But nothing ever comes of it. The father is now prepared to make someone walk into a lamp post. It's just to bond with his son. That's where it was left for a decade because the next film was mired in production hell.
