DeI, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, I Had a Hard Time.
Parents have every right to be angry about this. They show up and if the DOJ is now stepping in and saying, oh, we're going to call you guys domestic terrorists and get the FBI involved, they know that's because parents have power to turn schools back around. So, inspiring actionable thinking is kind of the last thing that I'm hoping to achieve. It turns out these are actually so interlinked that it's very difficult to separate them. There's no purpose for diversity and inclusion as they are implemented, unless the goal is to get to equity. And so diversity, equity and inclusion can't really be separated. They are a package deal.
