Thinking in English

CHAPTER

Should Performance Enhancing Drugs Be Legal in Sport?

The most common argument against the use of performance enhancing drugs in sport is that they are potentially dangerous. The purpose of PEDs is to alter the human body and change normal bodily functions. Allowing the use of drugs in sport could also turn athletes into human guinea pigs. Legalising and allowing performance enhancing drugs will force clean athletes who don't want to take PEDs to take them. It's not fair to force athletes into a situation where they need to choose if they want to endanger themselves and endanger their bodies.
