Is Twitter a Less Free Place?

Do you think twitter has become a less free place in recent years? I've been on twitter long enough to remember when it used to be fun. There's a sense that the costs of speaking out, if you happen to say something unpopular, could be a lot greater. The fact that maske wants to go after twitter, to take the big one and push it in a free speech direction have excited a lot of people.
