The Importance of Embodiment Goals in Gender Medicine

A framing that I've heard more recently that didn't exist 20 years ago in gender medicine is embodiment goals. It's basically saying individuals can carve out and create like a like a designer identity. And there's no requirement for being truly trans. But to me that feels very much like what we're talking about here. Like, you know, it's a stretch to say somebody was born with a unique identity.
