i started making a list, and i was preparing for this podcast, of ten reasons to stay with the practice of silence. It's very difficult initial because our muscles are so weak,. To expect it to happen easily or quickly is like imagining you're going to go and compete in the olympics without training ever or practising. No, it's after we practise for hours and sometimes days, weeks, months, it becomes silence become such a part of us. And you will find, once you begin to enter into it, that something in your soul just comes alive and just longs for god.
