The Surreal Life of a Syrian Smuggler
"I left Syria in 2015 and I moved to Orvah in the southern part of Turkey," he says. "There was a lot of ISIS been active there so they were like stopping all Syrians from traveling" He describes how 55 people had to be smuggled into Greece on three small boats. The boat behind us flipped over after it started moving up and down too fast, he says.
