The Impact of the Ford Foundation on the Liberal Legal Network
The Olin Foundation gave away maybe $400 million over its 50 years of existence. It doesn't strike me if that just having money alone was the single bottleneck here, or at least it wasn't requiring billions and billions upon dollars. And I think that's true on both the left and the right. With a very few exceptions, the ROI on electoral investments, at least in things like presidential campaigns, is enormous.
