I remember being a popular teacher, but I think that's probably normal. Most teachers are popular with their students as long as you're not a complete bore or nasty piece of work. So my students after the break, they just seemed a bit, bit, I don't know, they just weren't that happy. They were probably quite stressed too, and my uptight demeanour in the previous session had just made them feel a bit embarrassed or something. And they were probably just like, oh god, this is awkward. Why do we have to have Luke being observed in our lesson?
This is the longest episode of LEP so far, and it's a solo ramble. I talk freely about a lovely day I had in Paris earlier this year, which really stuck in my memory. Relax, follow my words, hang out with me for 3 hours, get stranded on a desert island of the imagination, and then get rescued. Includes a haircut, a sleep and a t-shirt change during the episode.
