How Big Should Deloitte Be?
The consulting and accounting firm Deloitte has 84,000 employees who last year generated about $18 billion in revenue. The mesh is Lisa Gansky's term for the sharing economy. In many ways, Deloitte is in the refrigerator rental business. There isn't a deep, deep hierarchy of bosses upon bosses upon bosses that most of the people who work there actually never interact with each other.
