The Importance of Grid Build Out for PPA Growth
Permitting issues are the key bottleneck. I mean, if there would be permits, the assets would be realized. There is now a big rush in France as developers are allowed to opt out of their auctions for 18 months which created a short-term PPA market. But yes, due to those two factors, the market structurally doesn't allow a much bigger uptake and growth in the private market PPA. You mentioned cannibalization. We haven't talked about the fundamental, are we building out the grids to ensure also more connections? Absolutely.
