The Problem With Achilles Ruptures

There was a rash of achilles ruptures when there was a couplet done of so they were doing deads, i believe, with 225 pounds. And then that was coupled with box jumps. They had pre fatigued the achilles with the dead lift, and then went into the pliometric of the box jump. That is the very reason that there is that high riped calf work there to promote achilles health. If we only do very high, high intensity lower up work, there's not enough blood flow for them to be healthy.
