The History of Yemen and the Blockade on Yemen
Yemen was among the earlier countries that, you know, where people joined the protests. And in Yemen, we had a dictator. His name was Adiyab the La Salne. He had been ruling initially North Yemen from 1978 and then a united Yemen from 1990 onwards. By 2011, he had already been in power for 33 years, very much dictator style. But Yemen is unique in that particular region.
