Is There a Bubble in Startups?
Jeffrey Funk has been doing a lot of analysis recently on profitability of IPOs and startups more generally. He finds that compared to like the 1980s and 1990s, profitability is way, way down. It's for me for most of these things, it's actually quite difficult to see how the business model would be like high growth at any point or high profit.
