The Tension Between Metrics and Learning
There's always a lot of different tensions between the metrics that we care about, right? You could do something that helps with revenue, but hurts retention. And then there's learning going to the mix as well. We basically create a system where everyone's incentivized to move everything up and not at the expense of something else. So, if you run an experiment, because everything we do gets A.B. tested, we're an experiment that helps you target metric, you got to make sure that doesn't hurt any of the Gabriel metrics.
