The Bar Council's Race Working Group
Barbara Mills is co-chair of the Bar Council Race Working Group. It was set up last year, a few weeks or so after George Floyd murder. Key findings were that barristers from ethnic minority backgrounds face obstacles in building and progressing their careers. Black and Asian women four times more likely to experience bullying and harassment.
