The Pregnancy of Scripture and Creation

The ancients took seriously the repeated claim and declaration of the New Testament that about Christ that in him and through him and for him are all things. So because of that they saw all of creation and indeed all of humanity as incarnational to some extent. And so what we consider reality, what we consider normal needs to be unveiled to reveal its true form and its end game. They saw this pregnancy as a universal yearning towards the consummation of all things which will be summed up in Christ.
