Are You Trying to Be Altruistic or Don't Donate Because You Feel Connected to Them?
I'm thinking of it from another angle which is like I imagine myself hiding behind the reasons of like not being altruistic or not donating because I need to help myself first selfishly. If you take that to an extreme like Bill Gates like if Bill Gates never built the company Microsoft he wouldn't be so incredibly effective at affecting a large amount of people with his altruism and donations today. What kind of world would we live in if there was no Microsoft Windows if a bowl is still existed but William Gates had connected to his wife and his kids? We'd still have a bowl and all these people would have died, says David Frum.
