Johnny and Friends: A Nonprofit for People With Disabilities
Johnny Eric Sintada is the founder of Johnny and Friends, a nonprofit that gives wheelchairs to people in third world countries. He says he was originally going to pursue an IT career but his friend convinced him to take on Wheels for the World as its director. The organization helps prisoners who have lost their chairs get them back to new condition by using vocational skills.
