The BRICS Currency: A Numerator

There have been rumblings that BRICS wants to create its own currency. It wouldn't surprise me if BRICS nations are contemplating something like a non-national numerator for the purposes of cross-border settlements in some ways inspired by Keynes' work from early 1940s. The other reason why I wouldn't be surprised if these discussions weren't happening is that in fact Keynes' numerator, which he called the bank or subject to a lot of lively discussion inside the People's Bank of China during the last few years.
