I think that you're going to have your hostile professors and your hostile undergraduates and graduate students in these institutions. There are many, many people of the left also there that genuinely are interested in engaging in debate. I saw that firsthand when I was teaching at Boston College as recently as a year ago. If you actually read between the lines it actually gets quite close to what many proponents of like racial affirmative action wouldProbably argue it say, well, actually a campus should have a variety of perspectives on campus.
