The Future of Planetary Citizens

Do you ever think about where this could go in terms of leaving our planet and traversing the solar system or how we might live? I do. For me, astrophysics and astrobiology are fascinating subjects and well worth pursuing to expand the sphere of human knowledge. But I see those subjects as really quite different to ideas of inhabiting Mars or setting up space colonies. You know, it's insanely expensive to launch things into space. And also, why would anyone want to go to Mars? The quality of life would be dismal in just about every respect. We'll look back on 2021 with absolute disbelief.
