Hippop and Protest
There is a strong connection between hippop and protest. Hipop emerged out of young people, communities of color who had traditionally been oppressed within their own country. Kendrick lamar's track, right and childish gambinos, this is america became synonymous with the global 20 20 black lives matter marches. And in recent months, some of russia's most prominent wrappers have been releasing tracks that are vicerally critical of the russian invasion of ukraine. Loving hippop doesn't automatically mean you love the us. There is no direct connection. The real power of hyppop diplomacis is in the people.
