The Fablemans by Spielberg - Jaws
Spielberg's best autobiographical movie is E.T. because you can be completely swept away by it without having to go, you know, this is a story about somebody telling you that when he was young, he was anxious about his parents splitting up and not having friends. The Fablemans is still a good film, and Spielberg absolutely deserves to treat himself with this cinematic retelling of his youth. But showing us how the main character comes to develop his cinematic skill set reminds us all of the usual Spielbergisms we would have enjoyed over the decades.
