Food sharing between people from different villages is a thing that we see in several traditional societies right and something that also promotes cooperation and fosters relationships yeah. So if there is some food sharing none of it's obligatory in the same way with the HODSA where like if you have more than everyone else you have to share but there is a general expectation. If someone asked for a little bit of money you're sort of expected to give it so long-distance friends help manage risk and they help access more resources that might not be available in the local environment do these long-distance relationships aren't only are they way for them to access risk so you know they can call on their friends to help
