The Importance of Value Systems in Electronic Waste
In 1970 we were digging out of the planet 25 billion tons of materials by 2020 it was 100 billion tons and to get to our green tech clean world they estimate we'll be needing to dig out 170 billion tons of material by 2050. I think that would transform thinking by brands and manufacturers if they were actually responsible for maintaining the life of the material and giving it a next life exactly that's very true so my PhD started as circular economy more focused and material reused recycle refurbished to extend them value of materials for as long as possible. We propose an eco-centric approach to designing policy where you harmonize relationship between individuals society and nature including the material.
