The FTC's Role in a Consumer Protection Lawsuit

The FTC has charged violation of two statutes. One is the Federal Trade Commission Act, which prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in commerce. In addition, there is this bill goes by the acronym of RASCA. That was passed in 2010. The Restore Online Shoppers Confidence Act basically outlawed the negative option where you buy things and can't unbuy them.
