The Importance of Tracking Everything
There are some designers who, you know, have read a ton of books and got stuck on their methodologies. So I'll say that, but take a step back and try to bring it back to the context in which you're operating. Understand if their problem solving method might be good for that context or it might be bad for that context. But you're going to want to stick to your guns. If it's bad and try to show them how you can be doing things differently with a better or different methodology.
