Tamla was meant to sound a little more poppy. So that's how Tamla label came out before all of them. When did Motown get the distribution necessary not to have to go to other labels? Probably after Shop Around came out. If we had bashed them in the face three times in a row with a postman, money that's what I wanted, you could shop around.
