The Emotional Labor of Creating a Book

The way the images are created they almost feel sort of like paper dolls. The characters really are just representations they don't show any emotion. And it was funny because my first editor found that really troubling and was sort of like you know I so sometimes when I'm reading I feel like the face doesn't change and it kind of feels weird.
