Is God a Respecter of Persons?
The idea that god is not a respecter of persons actually doesn't contradict his nature at all. Israel was more deserving than any one, but he chose him anyways. He didn't choose israel based on their wealth or their social rank. And if that wasn't enough for someone, well, it's still partial to choose a people.
