A staffer in the communications office accidentally hit reply rather than forward on an email and sent to a journalist what was intended for the head of communications they are chasing. So it's I mean it does seem like there has been an actual policy in the Archdiocese of Washington's communications office not to communicate with press which is you know it's frustrating. But may I offer an alternative perspective or at least can I turn the prism of our subject? "I'd be grateful for it because I want to talk about the sort of broader implications of this policy of non-engagement," he says.
