The Lack of Foresight in the Covid Inquiry
As far as I can see, it would appear that ministers and perhaps Boris Johnson himself just didn't actually understand the scope of what the Covid inquiry wanted to do. People are understanding, but this kind of lack of transparency isn't understandable. The other thing that's really quite frustrating is the anger that's surrounding this from the Johnson camp or his supporters. They are furious that the more recently revealed details of another alleged lockdown breaking party were leaked by an insider in the cabinet office. Now that language just drives me mad. It's such a kind of eaten tux shop scandal type thing. This isn't a game. Lockdown stripped people of their most basic right, their liberty. And
