Non alignment was a strategy of diversification, which is that india did not want to depend on any one country for its security. India now sees china alone and in conjunction with bacestan as major strrategic challenge. The two countries have different visions of what the region should look like. And so i think what you've seen is an india that, to day, is making choices because it relies. It can't be non allined between the us or China.
