The Challenge of Climate Change

The 10 hottest years on record have occurred since 2010. The World Bank suggests that by 2030, 100 million people could be pushed into extreme poverty because of climate change. If countries implement all their plans, the best estimates suggest we will warm by around 2.5 to 2.8 degrees. This is a challenge like we have never faced before in human history. We are not on track.
