i think it's interesting that those stories probably were the seed of bilbo being interested in going on an adventure, don't you think? I mean, yes, i mean, obviously he wouldn't have done it if it hadn't been for the dwarfs coming by. Yes, i have to think that he had some sort of foreknowledge about what was going to happen. Maybe he didn't know exactly, but do you think it's possible that maybe he some idea that habots would be important in the coming war against saron? I think so.
