Every aspect of Bitcoin requires a human being making a deliberate decision. And it's set up in such a way that it's cheaper to follow the rules than to try to break them. So at its core, Bitcoin is not digital gold or an asset or even money. It's just a string of ones and zeros that enables us to interact with one one one another for example.
