The Shit Sandwich Model
There were some fun parts of it that I didn't expect, and that surprised me. But for the most part, it's fairly tried and true tropes you find elsewhere written in a way that is often annoying when he's trying to ape nature. Based on those things, how convincing is it? I'd give it a four out of ten. If it were under 150 pages, I would consider reading it. So maybe I wouldn't give it an 8.5. It was mostly... Forgettable. With enough fun bits to make it that I don't totally regret my time with it.
