The History of the Zulu Kingdom
The story of a united Zulu Kingdom began with Shaga Zulu, the illegitimate son of Senzanga Korna. Driven by Shaga's innovations in warfare, it won and lost major battles against European colonial forces. That all ended in July 1879 when the British inflicted a heavy defeat on the Zulu army. Those wars displaced huge numbers of people shaping the future of countries yet to be created.
